Color in art or any media can bring what you make to life by showing the consumer how to feel about a character, an environment or a product. The color choice on a character is important in establishing what kind of character they are, for example if you put dark colors on a monster or menacing figure, this will tell the average consumer to associate them with the bad guys. This won't always be the case as some protagonists and heroes were colored in dark colors, these dark colors on a protagonist could symbolize a dark past, immoral actions committed by them, or others. In a video game, color in a environment can indirectly tell the audience how to feel about the place. if you have a port town with low saturated colors, then the player or audience might feel a bit of unease, depending on the genre of game. If you want to instill horror then using low saturated and dreary colors can prove effective. if you're trying to sell a product or grab peoples attention, bright colors and an interesting logo can attract people to your product. if your art lacks color, it's incomplete and is lacking an extreme amount of detail. Color is what brings a world to life ad makes people a little more interested in your product or video game world

As I continue to draw, I find myself struggling more with digital art more than I do with physical or traditional art like pencil and paper. I've had a lot of problems with drawing digitally that can be frustrating like drawing on the wrong layer and having to go back, struggling to start a picture properly, or just using a drawing pad. While on paper I make a lot of drawing mistakes and proportions are off, the drawing still looks good and when trying to translate that digitally I doesn't work. For me there's a lot more pressure when making digitally art, because all of the tools you would need is at your disposal, while if your'e doing physical art, you are more limited that also eliminate any stress on making the art look better. On the other hand however, Digital art in the hands of someone with even some skill can look much prettier and overall better than physical. while physical art can look gorgeous, the tools and methods used with digital can outclass physical art with it being much more appealing visually. Sometimes I feel it to be more fun and easier just to make art in a drawing book then traced over it and color it digitally rather than starting from scratch on the computer. I also feel it better to leave a sketch as is, because I've had times where tracing or even coloring the drawing made it look worse, and sometimes I would get stuck drawing and redrawing the same part just because it didn't feel right. While I find myself struggling more with digital art than physical, I have to say that I prefer digital because of all the tools at my disposal, though I do prefer to sketch it out physically first
